FILE: 2022-6641 – Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect caught on camera committing a brazen break and enter.
On December 24, 2022, Port Moody Police responded to a break and enter in the Klahanie neighbourhood of Port Moody. The Christmas Eve break-in occurred at about 5:20 p.m., leaving the unoccupied home ransacked and numerous items stolen. CCTV video captured a suspect, and police are requesting the public’s help in identifying him.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, with short brown hair wearing a two-toned baseball cap, dark backpack, a light jacket and a cloth face mask (see attached video & still image).
“We are releasing video of the suspect in the event that someone might know him or have information to aid our investigation” states Constable Sam Zacharias.
Anyone with information or area dashcam or CCTV footage is asked to contact the Port Moody Police Department and quote file 2022-6641.
