File 2021-5961:  An early morning hit and run caused serious damage to three parked vehicles in a residential neighbourhood.

On October 26, 2021 at about 2:00 am, Port Moody Police received a report of a collision in the 1900 block of Charles Street, Port Moody.  Upon police arrival, frontline officers determined a white BMW sedan struck several parked vehicles, causing extensive damage.  The driver fled the area.  Despite efforts from officers on scene and the assistance of the Lower Mainland Police Dog Services, the driver was not located.

“The investigation is in its early stages and we are working to determine what factors may have caused the collision” states Constable Sam Zacharias.

Anyone with dash camera footage or CCTV footage in the area around the time of the collision is asked to contact the Port Moody Police department.
