The Port Moody Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect in an assault.

On December 9, 2020 at approximately 3:50 pm while walking along the street, a 24 years old female was accosted by an unknown male while in the area of Glenayre Drive in Port Moody.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian in his early 20’s, with short light brown hair, blue eye and brown eyebrows. He was wearing a black hat, royal blue windbreaker, baggy straight legged pants and a black face mask.

The female was assaulted by the male but not physically injured.

It is believed that a person was walking a dog nearby and my have witnessed the assault. The investigator would also be interested in viewing any dash cam footage that my have been recorded in the area at the time of the offence.
