FILE: 2022-828 – Police are looking for witnesses and evidence after a daytime break and enter resulted in the reported theft of tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of valuables.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, February 16, 2022, Port Moody Police were called to a residential break and enter at a home on Hett Creek Drive, Port Moody. Police gathered evidence at scene and the investigation remains active.
An immediate neighbourhood canvass has been completed but police are looking to branch out to the greater area – seeking any CCTV footage, dash camera footage or any possible witnesses. Constable Sam Zacharias states “we are asking Parkside-corridor residents to jog their memory for any suspicious vehicles, person or persons in the area on February 16, 2022 between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm. This also includes nearby trail systems like Bert Flynn park”.
