FILE: 2024-4222 – Gatensbury Road is currently closed in both directions after a collision involving a semi-truck.
On September 4, 2024 at about 10:45 a.m., Port Moody Police responded to a report of a truck that struck a lamp standard in the 1000 block of Gatensbury Road in Port Moody. There are no injuries and no other vehicles involved.
“Trucks are prohibited on this road and enforcement action has been taken against the driver” states Constable Sam Zacharias. “The road remains closed in both directions at this time as heavy tow operators work to remove the truck and secure the light post.”
