UPDATE: In the afternoon hours of Monday, May 19, Port Moody Police frontline officers – along with Burnaby RCMP & other Lower Mainland Integrated Units – conducted a high-risk arrest of the suspect in the City of Burnaby.
The suspect has since been released, and the matter remains under investigation at this time.

Police are appealing for dash camera footage in a Thursday afternoon road rage incident.
On May 15, 2025 at about 4 p.m., Port Moody Police frontline officers were called to the area of St Johns Street and Moray Street for a report of a road rage altercation in the westbound lanes of traffic.
Upon police attendance, a dark Acura sedan was located with a smashed rear window [see attached image]. A suspect fled the scene in a grey Honda sedan after allegedly breaking the car window and then pointing a firearm at the other driver.
“We are looking to speak with any witnesses who observed the rush hour altercation” states Constable Sam Zacharias, “and likewise, anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident is also asked to contact our investigators.”
