An afternoon crash involving a motorcycle has snarled rush-hour traffic through Port Moody.
On May 5, 2025 at approximately 5 p.m., first responders were called to a collision in the 2400 blk of Barnet Hwy, Port Moody (near the Coquitlam border). The collision involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and has since been transported to hospital while the driver of the passenger vehicle was uninjured.
“Eastbound traffic on the highway has been shut down and remains closed at this time” states Constable Sam Zacharias, adding that “we anticipate that the road will open within the next hour or so.”
