SUBJECT: Motorcycle Collision – Queen St and St Johns St

PORT MOODY – On July 23, 2019 at 1:35 p.m., Port Moody Police, Port Moody Fire Rescue and BC Ambulance Service attended a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of St Johns Street and Queens Street. The rider was immediately transported to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Port Moody Police is currently on scene investigating the collision. Eastbound traffic is closed due to the investigation and being detoured at Elgin Street. Westbound traffic is partially open.
At this time it is too early to determine the cause of the collision. The Port Moody Police Department would like to ask that anyone who may have observed the collision or have dash-cam footage on St Johns Street between Albert Street and Moody Street around the time of the collision to contact Port Moody Police at 604-461-3456 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
