The Port Moody Police Department is attempting to locate Trina June HUNT, aged 48 years. Trina was last seen at her Heritage Mountain residence on the morning of January 18, 2021. She is believed to be wearing a black North Face jacket, with a teal green collar, and pink and purple Cloudflyer shoes. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 120 lbs.

Investigators are interested in receiving any dashcam footage that drivers may have that was taken on Heritage Mountain on January 18, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Investigators are also interested in speaking to anyone in the area who may have residential security footage that they feel is relevant. Police have already made contact with many residents and ask to hear only from someone who has not already spoken to police.

Trina’s family has asked us to include the following message to the public:

“The family of Trina Hunt would like to thank community members of Port Moody and beyond for supporting us in our search to find Trina. Our family has been overwhelmed with gratitude for the countless hours spent searching Heritage Mountain by hundreds of volunteers.

We would like to offer a special acknowledgment to neighbourhood community members Jessica, Saurabh and Tazeem, for setting up a command centre to coordinate volunteers, plus the countless businesses and neighbours in Port Moody who have donated food and supplies.

At this time, the community ground search is on hold and the volunteer command centre will wrap up this evening. The family continues to work with the police and hope that clues to her disappearance will be found.

Trina is a beautiful wife, daughter, sister, auntie, cousin and friend. We continue to hope through the incredible efforts of the Port Moody Police Department that she will be brought home soon.”

The Port Moody Police Department would like to acknowledge all of the efforts made by the many people who have volunteered to assist the Hunt family during this tremendously difficult time. We are proud to serve in such an engaged and caring community.

The missing person investigation is active and ongoing and numerous investigative avenues are being pursued. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Trina June HUNT, including video footage to share, please contact the Port Moody Police Department at 604-461-3456.
