Deputy Chief Stevens later worked as the Discipline Authority, followed by supervisory positions as Officer in Charge of the Professional Standards Section, Operations as the District 3 Commander, responsible for the deployment of 145 front-line police officers.

In 2018, she was seconded as Bureau Director to the Criminal Intelligence Service of B.C. and the Yukon, a multi-jurisdictional integrated unit comprised of police professionals.

“I wanted to thank the selection committee, who worked closely with an executive search firm on this national recruiting effort,” said Chief Constable Fleugel during today’s official swearing-in ceremony. The selection committee was made up of representatives from City of Port Moody Human Resources, PMPD Human Resources, PMPD Police Board, and the Chief Constable.
