SUBJECT: PMPD Search Warrant Executed in Surrey

PORT MOODY – In the early morning hours of April 4, 2019, several members of the Port Moody Police Department’s Community Action Team (CAT), with the assistance of the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant in the area of 168th Street near 31st Avenue in Surrey.
The search warrant was in relation to a robbery which had occurred in Port Moody earlier this year. As a result, multiple occupants of the residence were detained, and one person has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
The Port Moody Police wish to advise residents that, while the investigation is still ongoing, there is no threat to public safety, and there will be no expected traffic disruptions.
