Port Moody Police would like to pass on the following safety tips for trick-or-treaters of all ages:

Be careful crossing roads and keep a flashlight or glow stick with you.

If possible, affix reflective tape to costumes or bags.

Do not go into a stranger’s house to get candy.

Always have an adult check candy before eating.

Don’t leave candy in places pets can access.

If you are driving to a location, give yourself plenty of time as there will be little ghouls and ghosts roaming the streets.

If you are planning on drinking alcohol, please arrange for a ride home well in advance as taxis will be quite busy.
