FILE: 2023-4683 – Port Moody Police are investigating an early morning fire.
On August 7, 2023 just prior to 5 a.m., Port Moody Fire Rescue was called to a townhouse fire in the 2000 block of Panorama Drive. Firefighters tacked the blaze quickly which affected multiple units. However, 3 people sustained injuries and were transported to hospital by B.C. Ambulance with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
“Initial information suggests this fire may be suspicious in nature” states Constable Sam Zacharias. “Our Major Crime Detectives are currently on scene investigating the fire. Anyone with information is asked to contact us.”
