On July 27, 2015 the Port Moody Police were notified of a theft of a BC Children’s Hospital Charity Box from the counter of a local business.

The resulting investigation identified a 45 year old Port Coquitlam male that is known to police for similar offences.

On July 28 2015, Port Moody Police members arrested this male as he exited Surrey Provincial Court where he was released on bail for other unrelated charges. This male was returned to custody and is scheduled to appear in Port Coquitlam Provincial Court on July 29, 2015. Charges of Theft under $5000 and Failure to Comply with a Probation Order are pending.
