FILE: 2023-356 – Port Moody Police is informing the public of a drowning this past weekend.
On Saturday, January 21, 2023 shortly after noon, Port Moody Police Department frontline officers responded to a sudden death at Reed Point Marina in Port Moody.
The deceased – a man in his 60’s – is believed to have accidentally drowned and the death is not considered suspicious or criminal in nature. The British Columbia Coroner Service attended and is leading the investigation.
