SUBJECT: Port Moody Police member in Cuba
PORT MOODY – As the result of a number of media enquiries, the Port Moody Police can confirm that a Port Moody Police officer was taken into custody in Cuba and subsequently released during a personal holiday.
The Port Moody Police take all allegations of misconduct concerning our officers very seriously.
We have referred this matter to the Office of the Police Complaints Commissioner so they can monitor the situation. We have no additional information to offer at this time.
