On November 19, 2017 at approximately 1850 hours, members of the Port Moody Police Department responded to a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a motor vehicle at the intersections of St. Johns and Moray streets in Port Moody. Police spoke with the driver of the motor vehicle, who had remained on scene. At this point, Police have ruled out both drugs and alcohol as factors in the accident, however it is believed that poor weather conditions may have played a role.

The female pedestrian was transported by ambulance to hospital for treatment, where she is currently in critical condition. Police are seeking any additional witnesses who may have witnessed this accident to come forward.
