Port Moody Police Department

Volunteer Programs

*** PMPD is now accepting new volunteer applications ***

The Port Moody Police Department has a number of programs in which citizens can contribute to building a stronger and safer city by “getting involved and staying safe.”

These programs include:

  • Community Policing Office in Newport Village
  • Volunteer Bike Patrol in association with ICBC Crime Prevention
  • Volunteer Vehicle Patrols
  • Tri-City Speed Watch Program (in association with the RCMP and ICBC)

The Port Moody Police Department values and relies on our partnerships with community members. We encourage everyone to become involved, whether you do that on a neighbourhood or city-wide level makes no difference. It is through this collaboration that we keep our neighbourhoods safe and our city one of the most livable cities in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
