Women's Programs

Tri City Transitions: Breaking the Cycle of Abuse: 604-941-7111

Programs include:

  • Empower Moms Support Group – provides support and parenting skills education.
     
  • Stopping the Violence Counseling Program – individual and group counseling for women who have experienced abusive relationships, have been sexually assaulted, and/or who are adults of childhood sexual abuse.
     
  • The Eating Disorder Program – support groups for adults who binge eat and/or have eating disorders.
     
  • Community-based Victim Assistance – free and confidential information, referral, advocacy, court accompaniment, and support services to men, women and children who are victims of relationship violence, criminal harassment, sexual assault and child sexual abuse.
     
  • Community Action Program for Children – parent education programs – kids birth to six for those who would benefit from extra support.
     
  • Children Who Witness Abuse Program – individual and group counseling 4-18 years old.
     
  • Adult Survivors of Sexual Abuse Program – women’s group exploring effects of sexual abuse, gain life skills.
     
  • Outreach Services Program – to women and their dependent children for those who have experienced, or are at risk of, relationship violence, sexual assault, and historical abuse.
