Upon arrival, the officers confirmed that shots had been fired at the residence and located the owner inside the home unharmed. The house and the surrounding area was quickly secured and cordoned off as a crime scene.

 

The Port Moody Police Major Crime Section and the Forensic Unit attended; possible witnesses were interviewed and statements were gathered while forensic evidence near the residence was collected.
