| Break and Enter, Theft From Auto & Possession of Stolen Property, PO11-2648 |
FILE 2011-2648MAY 6, 2011On May 6, 2011, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Port Moody Police Department attended a residence on Alder Drive, Port Moody for a break and enter report. A male had gained access to a garage, stolen various items from the vehicle inside, and then fled in a dark-colored van.
Upon arrival, Police began a search for both the vehicle and suspect. A short time later, the suspect and a female accomplice were located in a dark-colored van on Holly Drive, Port Moody. Evidence seized by police was forwarded to the forensic unit for analysis. Charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property, possession of break-in instruments and theft under $5000 have been recommended against the van occupants.
