On April 13, 2011, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Port Moody Police Department received a report that two males were attempting to break into vehicles in the 900 block of Allendale Ave.

Upon arrival, police immediately set up containment and began a search for suspects and vehicles showing signs of break-in. A K-9 unit from the New Westminster Police Service attached to the Integrated Canine Section assisted in the search and, after a brief track, was successful in locating two suspects a short distance away. Evidence seized by police was forwarded to the forensic unit for analysis.

Carl Howard Bessey FOGALE and Shawn Martin Joseph FOGALE of Coquitlam have been charged with theft under $5000.
