The Port Moody Police Department is so proud of the dedication and hard work of our officers.

Cst. Kuipers, Cst. Traietti and Cst. Riley were nominated for the Alexa’s Team Award, having achieved a team total of 65 in 2017.

Alexa Middelaer was killed by an impaired driver in Delta in May of 2008.  Her tragic death has become a catalyst for impaired-driving awareness and a call to duty for police officers across B.C. An officer must complete a minimum of 12 impaired investigations in the calendar year to become a member of Alexa’s Team.
